Ms. Hughes' Theatre Arts & Theatre Production classes made their mark during Black History Month by presenting their 'FUNGA ALAFIA' Projects. The students were responsible for researching the origination of 'Funga Alafia' as part of a dramaturgy assignment. Two students (Maya Reyes and Ashley Carmona) also provided beautiful artwork. There was also a 'Funga Alafia' performance that included dancing, singing, and drumming by some of Ms. Hughes' talented students which they showcased during the District's Black History Expo program and the Dueitt MS Black History Program.
